Clydebuilt Radio Studio
The team at Clydebuilt Radio invited me to design their second space, Clydebuilt Radio Studio in Glasgow City Centre. They wanted a versatile area that could function as a community center, radio station, recording booth, cafe, and office space for staff and volunteers.
I put a lot of thought into the materials, focusing on cork, felt, and velvet to make the space as soundproof as possible. Curtains were used to divide the office, cafe, and radio spaces, making it easy to adapt the area for different purposes. The overall style and material choice is inspired by Milanese entryways from the 70s.
The space still need to be built.
